The Chilingirian Quartet (!)

I'm very sorry to announce that illness has obliged the Fitzwilliam Quartet to withdraw from tomorrow's concert (thursday 27th) at late notice. They hope to reschedule tomorrow's original programme for our next season.

The world famous Chilingirian Quartet have volunteered to take their place. I'm amazed and delighted that such a famous ensemble have been so kind. They will play two of Beethoven's late masterpieces - the quartet in Eb major (opus 127) and the quartet in a minor (opus 132).
