St Mary's Church, Walthamstow

St Mary's Church is an architectural and historical treasure, tucked away in the "Village", an area of Walthamstow which already had a rich history long before the railway brought people from the once-distant city.  Just inside the entrance is a plaque showing a list of Vicars dating from the year 1108 !

Music plays an important part in the life of this active and welcoming church and there could be no more appropriate setting for these fine performances of beautiful works.
